Even if you are a Muslim yourself, your opinion on that matter is pointless. Women that want to wear it - for whatever reason they choose (obedience to Allah in their opinion, emulation of our foremothers, a personal expression of modesty, for the privacy it provides, whatever reason) - should be able to wear it. Telling women they can’t wear it is just as bad as forcing women to wear it. There is no “middle ground”.

I actually find it insulting to me as a man. The implication is that we are such dicks that we can’t take women seriously unless their attractive bits are covered up. Either that or we’re so engorged with lust that we’ll go around molesting and raping any woman who exposes the barest modicum of flesh.
